New editor for Nikkei Electronics (Japan)
Mr. Satoshi Okubo, has been promoted from deputy editor to chief editor of Nikkei Electronics Magazine of Japan as of January 1, 2012. Mr. Yasuo Tanokura, former chief editor, has become deputy editor at Nikkei Business Magazine. Satoshi Okubo will manage both printed and online editions with 18 editorial staff. He has over 15 years’ of editorial experience at Nikkei Electronics and Nikkei Microdevice. Before returned to Nikkei Electronics, he was chief editor of Nikkei Microdevices Magazine for 2 years. Nikkei Electronics, established in 1971, is the most influential tech trade magazine in Japan. It is bi-weekly with 44,000 circulation.
