Nikkei Electronics closes Silicon Valley bureau
Nikkei Electronics Magazine of Japan closed its Silicon Valley Bureau on December 31, 2011. Satoshi Okubo, the new chief editor, and his team will monitor and report Silicon Valley news from Tokyo. Phil Keys, the US correspondent who joined Nikkei Publications in 1998, left Nikkei and is now exploring new opportunities. He can be reached at phillip.keys@gmail.com. Nikkei Electronics still has its own sales office in New York for North America advertising sales.
