Bob Jones

Bob founded Publitek in 1998. He has over 25 years' experience in running technology PR and marketing communications businesses, following earlier careers in broadcast engineering and electronic component marketing. Bob studied Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the University of Bangor, Wales, and has an MA in Marketing. He was elected a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in 1996.

Robert Huntley

Robert’s electronics career covered telecommunications, navigation systems and embedded applications before he moved into IT sales and marketing. He has held several senior marketing positions in the data storage and enterprise software industry. An HND qualified electronics engineer, he is a member of the IET, CIM and CIPR. He joined Publitek in 2006.

Andy Gothard

Andy has over 20 years’ experience in corporate and marketing communications for technology companies, with a particular focus on the semiconductor and wireless communications sectors. After a spell as a journalist he moved into PR, directing one of the industry’s leading high-tech consultancies with a range of blue-chip and start-up clients. Prior to joining Publitek, he was responsible for corporate marketing at one of the UK’s best-recognised semiconductor start-ups. He holds an Honours Degree in Electronics with Physics from London University.

Oliver Davies

Oliver’s PR experience spans electronic component, programmable logic and EDA technologies, with a special interest in wireless communications. He holds a BSc with Honours in Electronics and Manufacturing Systems and is a German and Greek speaker. Oliver joined Publitek in 2002.

Rob Ashwell

Rob joined Publitek in 2008 after spending six years in technology PR, new media and freelance journalism. Previously Senior Account Manager at two of the UK's largest PR agencies, he has worked with a broad range of blue chip companies. Rob has a BSc in Genetics from University College, University of London.

Janice Fenton

Janice began her career in PR in 1991 and has extensive experience in both the agency and client sides. Skilled in all areas of marketing communications, she has managed many major projects on behalf of clients. She has specialised most recently in the technology sector, and prior to joining Publitek was responsible for media relations in North Europe for one of the world’s largest semiconductor companies. Janice is a French speaker.

Richard Stockdill

Richard has worked in PR on both agency and client sides, and in the press. He began his career as a journalist on electronics and computing publications, later moving into PR with a leading hi-tech agency. Prior to joining Publitek in 2011, he was responsible for worldwide technical press relations at one of the world’s largest semiconductor companies. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Physics.

Rob Davies

Rob’s experience of all aspects of technology marketing communications spans electronic component, satellite communication and industrial automation markets, working on both agency and client side. He has an MA in Marketing, a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and is a French speaker. He joined Publitek in 2000.

Steve Rowley

Steve’s career started in electronic engineering and electronic system sales. Since 1989 he has worked in senior PR roles on both the agency and client sides including being PR manager for a major electrical group with responsibility for seven companies. Before joining Publitek Steve was Regional PR Manager for another leading hi-tech agency.

Harald Biebel

Germany

Harald is an electronics engineer. He has extensive experience as a journalist working for German electronics magazines including Markt & Technik, Elektronik Industrie and Elektronik. In 1989 he set up his own PR and advertising consultancy business supporting a variety of clients in their press and marketing activities. His specialisms include electronic components, embedded systems, software, power supplies and measurement equipment. Harald is native German, speaks English fluently and knows some Italian too.

Donna Wilson

US

Donna has a wealth of technology PR experience at a senior level, both client-side and in agencies. Her skills encompass promotions, media and press relations, public relations, account management, training/development and strategic planning. Previous roles include that of Director of Communications at Qimonda and Public Relations Manager at Qimonda. Donna has a BA in Public Relations from San Jose State University.

Stuart Nurse

Stuart has extensive experience in graphic design and co-ordinating design projects. Qualifying as a graphic designer in 1980 with a BA (hons), he subsequently worked in health education and managed design studios which made use of both his creative design talents and his technical knowledge of production for print. In 1991 he decided to specialise in working with technology based businesses and has worked with Publitek since the company's inception in 1998.

James Johnson

James has a very wide range of web development experience, including online applications, video, 3D and SEO. Prior to setting up Publitek New Media, he was head of multimedia at the Natural History Museum in London. He speaks English and Spanish and is based in Barcelona. He studied Biology and Computer Science at the University of Southampton, UK.

Pepi Tobaruela

Pepi has a degree in journalism from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. She has worked for the last ten years as a web and multimedia specialist. She has developed web sites and e-marketing materials for a number of different sectors. Pepi speaks English, Catalan, Spanish and some Italian.

Vicki Parker

Vicki joined Publitek in 1999 as the company’s first employee. Earlier, she had been working as a market researcher and previously gained experience as a PA to the chief education advisor at a local education authority. Currently, she manages the media buying for our clients who wish to complement their PR with ad placement. She also handles the day-to-day bookkeeping.

Jenny Noad

Jenny joined Publitek in 2002 bringing 15 years of secretarial experience with her while working for a broad range of companies in different sectors ranging from hospitality to global logistics. Previously a PA and events organiser for a fundraising and recreational cycle rides company, Jenny is a very experienced and highly valued member of our admin team. She is based in Publitek’s head office in Bath.

Tina O’Mahoney

In just a few years, Tina has become a key member of our admin team providing day-to-day support to account directors. She also plays a leading role in tracking international press coverage for our clients and sending clippings to them. Besides gaining a Diploma in Business Studies, Tina has over 12 years of senior secretarial experience working for a gas supplier and landscape architectural practice before joining Publitek in 2007.
